Since the game launched, we received an overwhelming amount of messages (Twitter, Facebook, E-mail) asking us if the game soundtrack was available for purchase. Everybody here (and Michael in particular!) is super happy and honored of the interest in it. We thought we’d post a bit about it so that everyone can get the answer.
At the moment our licensing rights do not allow us to release a standalone soundtrack. We are however working on finding a solution! Please stay tuned, as soon as we have more news we will keep you informed.
Michael Geyre and the team created a total of 30 tracks based on the original Shinichi Sakamoto compositions. Unique variations for each dungeon and dragon have been created, along with extra tracks for the hospital, gallery, and more. Michael spent more than two years experimenting with ideas and created about a hundred different demos, narrowing it down to the final 30-ish tracks used in the game. We are very proud of the final result.
Fan mails? Jobs? Michael has no website, twitter or public facade, but if you want to contact him check our contact info at lizardcube.com and we will forward to him.
If you haven’t played the game yet, here’s a sample of the OST:
Desert Zone
The Monster’s Lair (Tower variation)
Michael has been working on creating a clean standalone soundtrack (vs in-game tracks that are looping indefinitively and thus do not have an ending section). Here is a tentative track listing!
